Auroville turns 38

This was the dawn scene at the Matramandir (in the background to the left) the morning of Auroville's birthday. The bonfire was lit around 5:30 in the morning, when Aurovillians came to sit in silence, reflecting on the purpose of Auroville and their individual purposes. The fire was very beautiful in the pre-dawn dark.
