¿Que tal?

So after 3 weeks, Nikki and I are taking a few days of respite, at a simple but elegant hostal in town. We finished up 4 ceremonies at Don Juan´s, and have decided to go under the healing hands of another curandero, due to the guidance of our good friend Carlos. It´s not that Juan´s was lacking in any way, its more that this other curandero, Doña Othellia, specializes not in ayahuasca, but in other plant medicines. She is an ayahuascero, and we will be continuing to do ayahuasca ceremonies, but, for Nikki´s sake, there will be a greater focus on other healing plants, concerning exzema, alopecia, and other of Nikki´s specific issues.

So, on Thursday, we will be going into Doña Othellia´s jungle site for the next week. If we are struck by the experience, we will return for another week or two, but regardless we will stop back in town probably by friday or saturday.

Life has been going very well here, and we have certainly hit our stride recently. This past week we both had 'gripe', the amazon equivalent of the flu, and we were taken very good care of, and had a ceremony last saturday which fully cleared us. We are now much more at home with the heat, and the pace of life. I am excited to be returning to the jungle, and Nikki is stoked to experience it for the first time.

ok, that´s all for now.
be well,
eka
