I write now at the end of our current adventure. We have come back from the jungle, for the last time, marking a solid 3 weeks of healing through dieting, plant medicines, and ayahuasca. Our time has been full of grace and grit (to borrow a Ken Wilber phrase), and we could not be more grateful for all of the mysterious unfolding.
For just a few days we are staying in Lima, mostly because of Nikki's passport situation. Iquitos lacks an American Embassy, so we have had to wade through a bit of Peruvian beaurocracy...but I am happy to report Nikki has a new temporary passport, and we have all the required immigration stamps. Hazaah!
So now all that is left is to leave...truly the closure phase.
I will finish this post with a series of pictures, ranging from our final weeks in the jungle, to our final days in Peru.
