~Down Home Goodness~
This past week, we invited friends over from neighboring Hudson, and put together a meal that was about 75% from our farm. We decided, given what was ready to harvest, to make a green salad, a beet salad, a cuke salad, and pizzas fired in our cob oven. Our own sauerkraut garnished the main dishes.
It was a wonderful, hectic, and educational time, and we all ended the day fat and happy. Here are a few pics from the preparation...
